watching the passing

halfling from the start

watch setting on the march

just ambling through preamble

strong rabble in a ramble

wondering why we crumple

and our strength no more ample

too simple are we

to realise

like really

such a big surprise

the cause of the demise

playing air guitar

on merry-go-round chairs

counting mounting wares

numbly unawares

that is always

Our Faith which makes us strong

even when all else is wrong
