Setting of Lonely

Malady or Malarkey
or Best of Both
most likely
always Besides
Nodding knowingly
a kind of Grief
A Longing prolonged
never to be embraced
nor erased
Alone... One Day
You come to Notice
an Ache imposed
This Impotence
Yet awash in The Ocean
What a droplet feels
Merging from the river
Welcome to the sea
Lonely, My Disease
Setting in Stages
which ripen and deepen
My Lonely, My Kryptonite
I saw Him first
as fearful dread
which I fled
Desperately finding.
only unwanted places
and nonchalant faces
I saw Him again
as a Sacred Solace
an Eagles Nest
which I nestled into
Cuddling, My Lonely
Therein
I drew Him to Me
Wearing Him
A second Skin
Fitting so Perfectly
And He became
Just Lonely, My Friend
and each day We talk
but only pleasantries
Words are so unnecessary
Being with Lonely
